I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. Now that my kids are all independent, I wanted to find something meaningful to do with my time—and I knew it wasn’t going to be learning how to cross-stitch or perfecting sourdough!
I’ve always had a special love for small dogs (we have three of our own), and I’ve been grooming them for years, along with our Ragdoll cat. One morning, I decided I wanted to learn how to groom other families’ small dogs, and that little idea quickly turned into a passion.
Since then, I’ve been honing my skills by interning at a local grooming salon, taking online courses, traveling to seminars, and constantly learning new techniques. I truly love the process of continuing to grow and master the art of grooming.
One day, I even hope to learn how to work with color!
